The swiss invoicing and ordering platform
As a consultant UX Designer, I led this project for over two years, gradually taking on higher-level strategic responsibilities. I worked closely with stakeholders, business leaders, and end-users to shape the platform’s direction, ensuring alignment between user needs and business goals.
By continuously iterating on the platform’s design and validating features with end-users, we delivered a highly functional and intuitive tool that streamlined invoice processes, reduced errors, and enabled faster decision-making for businesses. This project ultimately provided measurable cost savings and improved productivity across the board.

Due to very strict NDA constraints, I’m unable to share specific UX artifacts from this project.
However, I’d be happy to discuss my role, process, and key learnings in person—let’s connect!
My learnings
Strategic Thinking
I gained insight into aligning user needs with business goals through regular stakeholder engagement. This project emphasized the importance of understanding business objectives in the UX design process.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Working closely with diverse teams helped me appreciate the value of different perspectives in achieving a shared vision. This experience strengthened my ability to communicate effectively with technical, business, and design teams.
User-Centered Design
Continuous user feedback cycles allowed me to refine my approach to user testing and iterative design. I learned the significance of adaptability and responsiveness to user needs throughout the project.
Context
Conextrade facilitates the end-to-end digitisation of accounting runs, automating the release of invoices as far as possible and freeing up time for you to spend on value-adding work. Conextrade also supports the sending of invoices as customer-friendly eBills.
Further automating invoice processes, such as the accounts payable workflow, therefore offers considerable potential for optimisation and cost savings. With the Conextrade e-invoicing and e-procurement platform, you can digitise your invoicing and ordering processes quickly and easily.
At the time of the start of this project, Conextrade main need was to redesign their portal, which was done back at the 00’s.
Challenge
Despite the rise of digital solutions, processing invoices and releasing payments remained manual, time-consuming, and prone to errors. The objective was to streamline and automate the invoicing process, especially within accounts payable workflows, reducing inefficiencies and unlocking significant cost-saving potential.
Outcome
We developed Conextrade, an e-invoicing and e-procurement platform that enables end-to-end digitization of accounting processes. By automating invoice approvals and integrating customer-friendly eBills, the platform freed up valuable time, allowing users to focus on more value-driven tasks. The solution is now widely adopted across Switzerland, improving efficiency and accuracy in invoicing.
